Whether you start at the Ferry Building, Pier 1, or the InterContinental, the route to our door takes you past the Bay Bridge, the historic piers, Pier 39, and Fisherman's Wharf, ending in the heart of North Beach. There is no licensed dispensary on the waterfront itself. Sparc is the closest at 851 Mission, two blocks inland, but it is a different vibe entirely.

F Market historic streetcar
Board the F Market at the Ferry Building, Pier 1, or any waterfront stop heading toward Fisherman's Wharf. Stay on through Pier 39 and exit at the Jefferson & Jones terminus. Walk six blocks south on Mason to Filbert, then two blocks east to Columbus. The vintage streetcars are the trip itself.
Lyft or Uber up the Embarcadero
From the Ferry Building, Pier 39, or any waterfront hotel, set the destination to 899 Columbus Ave. Drivers go up the Embarcadero past the historic piers, then left on Bay or Chestnut to Columbus. Door drop-off is on the Columbus side, just past the corner of Lombard. The route stays scenic the entire trip.
Up the waterfront to North Beach
From the Ferry Building, walk north on the Embarcadero past Pier 7, Pier 23, Pier 33, and the historic Pier 39. At Bay Street, turn left and walk three blocks to Columbus. Two more blocks north and you are here. The walk is flat, scenic, and includes Bay Bridge views, sea lion stops, and a cup of coffee at Pier 23.
Up the Embarcadero by car
From any waterfront garage or pier, take the Embarcadero north past Pier 39, then left on Bay, right on Mason, and Mason takes you straight into the heart of North Beach. Two-hour metered parking is free after 6 PM. Mason and Greenwich is the most reliable street.
Embarcadero protected lane
The Embarcadero protected bike lane runs from the Ferry Building straight to Bay Street with no car traffic. Lock up at Mason & Filbert or any of the racks on Columbus. Bay Wheels stations are at Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, and Mason & Greenwich.
