Why come up the Embarcadero

Honest answer: worth it for the trip itself.

The Embarcadero corridor is the most scenic two miles in San Francisco. Whether you start at the Ferry Building, Pier 1, or the InterContinental, the route to our door takes you past the Bay Bridge, the historic piers, Pier 39, and Fisherman's Wharf, ending in the heart of North Beach. There is no licensed dispensary on the waterfront itself. Sparc is the closest at 851 Mission, two blocks inland, but it is a different vibe entirely.

That said, here is when our regulars from the Embarcadero make the trip. You are checking into the InterContinental, Hyatt Regency, or Hotel Vitale and want STIIIZY 1/4oz on B2G1. The waterfront has no dispensaries that run the daily flagship deal. We do. You are working at Embarcadero Center or 1 Market and biking home along the bay. The protected bike lane runs straight to Bay Street and we are six blocks west of there. You are visiting the Ferry Building Marketplace and want to combine the trip with a North Beach dinner. Ten minutes from oysters at Hog Island to focaccia at Liguria Bakery to our front door.

What you will not find on the waterfront at our price point: 60+ California brands under one roof, 250+ products on sale every day, and budtenders who have been on the floor long enough to actually know what arrived this week. The trip pays for itself if you are buying more than $80 of flower or vape. The F Market streetcar is $3, a Lyft up the Embarcadero runs $10 to $16, and the savings on STIIIZY 1/4oz alone covers the ride both ways.

Honest about the alternatives

When SoMa or the Mission is the better call.

If you are based out of a SoMa hotel and never want to ride past Market Street, Sparc at 851 Mission is closer than we are. Barbary Coast at 952 Mission has a licensed lounge if you want to consume on-site. Both are great shops. We are not pretending to be the closest licensed dispensary if you are picking a place inside walking distance of the Moscone Center.

What pulls Embarcadero traffic to North Beach is specific. STIIIZY pricing. We run daily B2G1 on STIIIZY 1/4oz pods. Most waterfront-adjacent shops carry STIIIZY but rotate the deal weekly. Selection. 60+ California brands, 250+ products, and an indoor-flower wall that runs deeper than anything south of Market at our price point. The trip itself. The F Market streetcar ride along the bay is one of the things people come to San Francisco to do. Combining it with a cannabis errand is a coastal weekend in twenty minutes.

If you are in a hurry and at your desk inside Embarcadero Center, your nearest licensed shop is the right call. If you have an afternoon and want the trip to feel like an actual San Francisco hour, the F Market and a stroll up Columbus is part of the visit.

“Staying at the InterContinental for a conference and the concierge mentioned GV. Took the F Market up after the keynote. Best decision of the trip. The streetcar ride alone was worth it. Came home with three pods on B2G1 and a story for the friends back in Texas.”
